Janitorial & Custom Cleaning

Certified cleaning professionals who arrive ready to work — no supervision, no training day, no temp-agency roulette.

What this service covers

Just because you use us for waste removal does not mean we cannot help in other ways. If you have a custom cleaning job, or need janitorial cover on a limited basis, our success managers maintain extensive networks of cleaning professionals throughout the areas we service, and they are glad to fill in for a few days or a week wherever they are needed.

The distinction from a personnel service matters. A temp agency sends whoever is available, often with no cleaning experience and no idea where your supply closet is. We place certified professionals who get straight to work without additional supervision, because supervising a temporary cleaner is a job somebody on your payroll would otherwise have to do.

  • Short-notice cover for sick or vacant shifts
  • Certified, experienced professionals only
  • Post-construction and deep cleans
  • Recurring or one-off scheduling

Coverage types

What we are usually called in for

Short-notice shift cover

A cleaner resigns, calls in sick or goes on leave. We cover the gap within 24 to 48 hours in most of the service area, with someone who can work the shift unsupervised.

Seasonal and holiday cover

Predictable annual gaps — holiday weeks, summer leave, end-of-year shutdown — booked in advance so you are not scrambling in December.

Deep cleans

Periodic deep cleaning that routine service does not cover: kitchens, washrooms, floor stripping and resealing, high-level dusting and vent work.

Post-construction cleaning

Fit-out and renovation dust removal before a space can be occupied. This is genuinely specialist work and general cleaners rarely do it well.

Move-in and move-out

Commercial units cleaned to handover standard at either end of a lease, often paired with our cleanout crews on the same visit.

Trial placements

Where you are considering changing provider, a limited placement lets you see the standard of work before you commit to anything contractual.

Certified professionals, not warm bodies

Everyone we place has verifiable commercial cleaning experience and has been through our vetting. In practice, that means the person who arrives can be handed a scope of work and left to do it.

  • Demonstrated commercial cleaning experience, checked with references
  • Background screening appropriate to the site
  • Trained on chemical handling and equipment safety
  • Insured through the placement
  • Briefed on your scope of work before the first shift

If a placement is not working, tell your success manager and we replace the person. That conversation happens with one phone call, not a formal complaints process.

Pricing is quoted, not listed

Janitorial rates depend on scope, site size, shift timing and duration, so publishing a single hourly figure would be misleading. Describe the gap you need covered and we quote against it — usually the same day.

It runs through your existing manager

If you already hold a waste account with us, cleaning cover is arranged by the same person who handles your collections. No new vendor onboarding, no second point of contact, no separate invoice.

Questions

About janitorial & custom cleaning

Within 24 to 48 hours across most of the service area for a standard commercial scope. Specialist requirements — a particular certification, an overnight shift in a remote location — take longer, and we will tell you how much longer rather than promising and missing.
No formal minimum. We have covered single shifts and we have covered three-month parental leave. Very short bookings carry a proportionally higher rate because the placement and briefing effort is the same either way.
By default they use your existing supplies and equipment, which is what most clients prefer for continuity. We can supply consumables and equipment instead — say so when you book and it is quoted in.
Call your success manager and we replace them. We would rather hear it on day one than discover at the end of a booking that you were unhappy throughout it.
Yes. A good number of our ongoing janitorial contracts started as a two-week emergency placement that simply carried on because it was working.
