You pack, we haul pricing

If you do not mind a little lifting, this leads to significant savings. We park a trailer by your door, you call when it is full, we haul it away.

First, review the fees listed on the WLSSD Materials Recovery Center page. Those are the fees we pay to dispose of what we haul away from you, and you cover them plus a 10% surcharge.

No "one free per day" allowances

We do not qualify for resident allowances. WLSSD lets you recycle one microwave free per day and charges $5 for each one after that — since yours will not be the only microwave we bring in that day, it will not be free.

What people ask about the bill

Every published rate covers collection, loading, transport and disposal, and sales tax is already built in. The number we quote on the phone is the number you pay at the door. The only additions are the published surcharges — for example $50 on a bed frame with a headboard and footboard, or $50 where an appliance needs elaborate plumbing disconnection — and we tell you about those before we arrive.
If we are removing more than one item from the flat-rate list in a single visit, deduct $50 from the rate of every item — not just the second one. Two large appliances at $200 each become $150 each, so $300 rather than $400. Our online estimator applies this automatically.
We cannot accept hazardous waste: paints and solvents, motor oil, pesticides, asbestos-containing material, medical sharps, propane tanks or ammunition. Those need a household hazardous waste facility. If you are not sure about an item, call and describe it — we would far rather answer the question than leave you with a surprise on collection day.
Cash or credit card, taken on completion. Commercial accounts are invoiced on standard terms, and multi-site clients receive a single consolidated invoice covering every location rather than one per site.
